FAT COFFEE?!

 

 

Coffee. Oil. Butter.

These three ingredients do not seem like they should be put together, but this combo is DELICIOUS and so good for you!

I am a gal that is in a committed relationship with coffee and ever since I have started drinking fat coffee, it has improved my morning routine drastically!

The fat coffee I make is my version of Bulletproof coffee + Kayleigh Christina’s fat coffee that I put my own twist on by adding vanilla and collagen (and sometimes  85% cacao)! 

Most people have a negative connotation with the word FAT and think staying away from fats is a must. But the fats in coconut oil and grass-fed butter are extremely beneficial for our bodies to burn the bad fat tissue…more detailed information on the benefits below can be found here!

So how to make my favorite FAT coffee!

  1. Brew your favorite cup of organic black coffee
  2. Add a tbsp of organic coconut oil.
  3. Add a tbsp of organic GRASS-FED butter
  4. Add a 2 tsp of organic vanilla

**OPTIONAL: a. Add a tbsp of collagen powered for extra protein for skin health and gut healing benefits.

                       b. Blend in a tbsp of  85% or higher cacao chips to make a mocha flavor.

5. Combine all ingredients together in a blender and ENJOY!

I definitely have felt every benefit from incorporating fat coffee into my daily routine, and now I do not think I can go a day without it. Although it might not be for everyone, I highly recommend trying it out to see the results and if it is right for you!
